Lingren

Bill W. Lingren earned his degree in entomology from Oklahoma State University in 1969. After a decade in agricultural science and private industry — including acquiring a product line from Zoecon — he and his wife Donna founded Trécé in 1984 around a focused idea: use pheromone monitoring to help growers manage pests without guesswork.

Four decades later, Trécé is still privately held. The company serves growers across North America with pheromone-based monitoring systems for orchards, vineyards, row crops, and stored grain. In 1995, a USDA Agricultural Research Service publication documented Trécé's cooperative research on pepper weevil pheromone systems — federal research collaboration that spans three decades.

In 2002, Bill brought the company home — relocating headquarters and manufacturing to Adair, Oklahoma. He donated land for the local volunteer fire department, funded scholarships at Adair High School, and endowed a scholarship in entomology at OSU. In 2017, his alma mater recognized him as a Distinguished Alumnus.
